Travis and his team at AV Connect have helped me out twice now––when I first moved to Austin in 2014 and when I upgraded my A/V system in 2021. In 2014, I was starting from scratch, and Travis helped guide me through my options and install a new a/v system in my new house, including components, installation and programming. It was a big project (for me), and the AV Connect team performed flawlessly. As occasional issues arose after, Travis was quick to respond, providing sound guidance and sending someone to help me out, when needed. AV Connect stands by their work, which is important to me. In 2021, I decided to upgrade my a/v system, which involved a major reordering of my older components and installing new ones. Travis gave me a great quote, procured all of the new equipment, and Kyren and Aaron installed it perfectly, answering my many questions about "how this/that works" along the way. AV Connect is a great team with customer-first priorities. I would recommend them highly for any job, large or small.

The BEST AV company I have ever used! Travis runs a tight ship. Great communication and extensive knowledge on the latest AV everything. We had AV Connect install TVs, Apple TVs, game consoles, wifi extenders.... basically, the works! I was so impressed with the gentlemen who came to install. Polite, knowledgable but able to explain things to me in easy to understand non-technical talk, and they really work to go the extra mile. Kyren and Adrin really worked to make sure everything functioned perfectly and that it looked nice. They even organized my magazines on the AV console when they were done!! So impressed. This company doesn't cut corners, but their pricing is good and fair. I really recommend them for all your AV needs!!

From start to finish, I had a great experience working with AV Connect for my home automation project. Travis worked hard with me to firstly decide on the right system for me and answered my many questions in a very timely manner. There was no pushiness on his part to sell me above and beyond what I needed. Once we had decided what I needed, he kept constant communication regarding the delivery so we could book the installation in advance. The installation itself was a fantastic experience as both Travis and Kyren really knew their stuff and again were very patient. Their main requirement was to ensure I was 100% satisfied. We are now going to use the system for a couple of weeks and Travis has advised if there are any tweaks required, this will be covered as part of the fantastic service they provide. I will definitely be using AV Connect for my future AV needs!

I've used AV Connect to install AV equipment in two homes. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Travis and his crews did. They were professional, courteous, respectful of our homes, conscientious, and extremely knowledgeable. AV Connect has performed A/V/Controls service for us for several years. This year we wanted to do a complete upgrade of our system involving a complex array of multiple TVs, two A/V control centers and wireless controls on climate, lights, draperies and multiple media options. Kurtis and Travis designed the system and worked diligently to install. They are true professionals- exceptionally pleasant to deal with, efficient, extreme analytical and diagnostic skills, and excellent teachers, too!

The AV Connect techs were prompt, super friendly, and quite knowledgeable in their craft. They resolved all of my AV issues and left me with the great satisfaction of knowing my systems were all operating just as good as when they installed them 6 years ago. At my request, they explained the upgrades now available in the latest systems and the benefits over my older equipment. I will definitely call upon them when the time comes to upgrade.

I recently purchased a home in Cedar Park, TX with a media room that was not being used to its full potential. I reached out to AV Connect, and Nate and his team helped me design and install the home theater of my dreams. We now have a 145” 4K projector system with Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 surround sound installed in the ceiling. AV Connect was especially good at helping me customize my theater within a strict budget. They did not force me to buy their equipment, and a few pieces were purchased separately and installed as part of their broader installation package. I’m also so glad I sprung for their contractor-grade screen and speakers. I was initially skeptical that either would make a big difference versus prosumer-grade options from Best Buy, Amazon, etc., but am absolutely floored by the final results. I believe that their high end components are absolutely more than marketing hype, and now have a system that delivers a sight and sound experience that’s as good or better than the standard presentation at my local AMC theater (not including IMAX and Dolby Çinema formats, of course). Nate and A/V connect team were a pleasure to work with, arrived and installed on time, and cleaned up nicely after themselves when the installation was complete. They gave me great advice throughout the process and I will absolutely use them again when it’s time for an upgrade. Big thanks to the entire team for designing our favorite room in the house!

Our office needed 11 Access Points installed. It was great not having to close the practice and we didn't have to do the install after hours. They were very professional from the minute they walked in the door to give us a bid. They made excellent recommendations for reasonably-priced equipment and where to place the speakers so we have great sound throughout our lobby. They answered all of our questions and have been very responsive with any support we needed after the system was installed. After installation, we had some questions about adjusting a few speakers. We had a technician in our office within minutes to help and explain how we could quickly make adjustments in the future if necessary. 10/10. 5 stars.

Travis is super helpful and responsive! I moved last year, and moved my automation system with me, but I hadn't been able to update all the programming. He came over and set up the remote, lighting, keypads, and updated all the systems. I forgot how much I missed having this! Highly recommended.

Travis and his team are responsive, effective and quoted considerably less to install custom studio monitors in our offices on Bee Caves. Set up was not conventional; they were somewhat reluctant fearing we had unrealistic expectations. They suggested a competitor by name! AV Connect, came, delivered and left. I had to chase them down to thank and attempt to pay them in advance of a mailed invoice. They don't know how qualified, competent and competitively priced they are. Bravo!

AV Connect has my house all hooked up for the sound I enjoy so much. Kyren, Garrett, Greg and Cory came the first session. With four of them here, they made a very quick job of it. They are professional, very neat (that matters to some of us) and didn’t leave until I was comfortable with the operations. Kyren and Garrett were back today to make a few modifications and some additions. Again, I am a very satisfied customer. We would highly recommend AV Connect.

Did a complete home automation and electronics package with AV Connect on our new home in Lakeway. They are very knowledgeable and beyond helpful. I worked with Nate on the sales side (Very responsive), Kyren (he is awesome!) on the install, and even Travis the owner was always available to assist with my questions on our job. As a business owner myself, I prefer to spend my money locally, and support good local businesses, and AV Connect did a great job making our home perfect before we moved in. I would highly recommend.

I have never received better service from anyone in my entire life nor met two of the best technicians EVER! Our two techs names are Kyren (project manager) and Garrett. They moved a 52" TV into another room and installed this plus installed a new large screen TV, speakers and corrected two previous installers errors in our fam room. Our woofer was not even working and now it is! Our sound now is amazing! AV Connect installed another TV on the wall for us a few years ago which was a perfect job and these two men did another excellent / perfection job for us! They were most helpful, kindest, and extremely patient with my husband and myself. They are the best! AV Connect also returned our phone call quickly and scheduled our install the next day! I've been using Kurtis and his team ever since my original AV installer left town about 5 years ago. They have worked on both an Elan Home and RTI system for me and the work is always done well and reasonably priced. I've recommended them to several friends and everyone has been pleased. Have used AV Connect several times to troubleshoot, repair and upgrade a complex and extensive fully automated home system that was originally installed by another company. Very impressive diagnostic capability that is superseded only by their efficient work ethic and "get it right the first time" attitude. Highly recommend.

I've had AV Connect out for two jobs since I moved to Austin last year and each instance has been professional, knowledgeable and equally important, AV Connect's customer service has been there before and after installation. Nate scoped my first project in March after a meeting at my home and his solutions more than met my requirements and budget including installing my home theatre, expanding the audio into the bedrooms and office and adding another mounted television in the guest bedroom. Kyren and his crew worked quickly and did a clean and professional installation, completing the extensive project in a day. This week Kyren came out to install new AV equipment and integrate the new components into my Control4 system. Kyren's technical competence and problem solving skills got the job done quickly, exactly as I'd hoped and exceeded my expectations - which pretty much summarizes my AV Connect experience! Big thumbs up!

11.03.21 - I once more had the pleasure of working with AV Connect (my 4th time). I contacted Travis seeking his advice for cutting the cable and he came through with the perfect solution. Kyran reconfigured my AV system to accommodate a fancy new remote that's easy to use. He did a very neat installation (they are pros at wrangling wires, cables and cords) and after he was finished went over how to operate my new remote making sure I understood (I did thanks to him.) Needless to say, I'll be calling them again when I'm ready to upgrade/update my AV system. AV Connect did a wonderful job installing the TV and audio system in my home 3 years ago. I moved recently and called them again to move and install the equipment in my new home. The morning of the installation I threw them a curve ball with a change in plans that necessitated additional equipment, more cabling, etc. They responded without skipping a beat and I'm now enjoying my system even more than before.

This company is over the top! We purchased a theatre system from them 24 months ago and just recently moved. They were so great to add us to their schedule to get our theatre system dismantled and then worked with us to reinstall it at our new home. What impressed me today was that they even asked if it would be okay to roll out our new carpet one the wood floors before they did the acoustics check in our house. They wanted the sound to be exactly as we would experience it before they made the final adjustments. Definitely FIVE STAR service! Thanks AV Connect.

I couldn't be more impressed with Nate and our friends at AV Connect. My initial contact with them was actually in the Spring of 2015 (1 year prior to service) as I was considering installing some outdoor speakers and obtaining quotes, etc. The time wasn't right for our project at the moment but Nate was very considerate to let us know when we were ready, he and his team would be happy to honor the quote and complete our job. With this in mind, my prior experience with his diligent customer service and quick follow-up, not to mention cost-effective, creative solutions for my patio won out... it was an easy decision when we were ready. I reached out to Nate to give he and his team the green light on Monday and they arrived the next day to complete our new patio project (Bose Free Space outdoor speakers (4), powered by Sonos Connect Amp, and 48" outdoor tv mounted w/full motion mount). This project was done very efficiently and cleanly over 1.5 days with no interruption to our household in the slightest (workload consisted of time-intensive wire burial/trenching/attic installation for wiring/components, etc). We couldn't be happier with the result and professionalism exhibited by the entire AV Connect team. I can effortlessly select my music via our Sonos smartphone app which houses all my music services such as Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, and SiriusXM with the click of a button... I even had the team figure out a way for me to enjoy the TV audio over my outdoor speakers so I never miss the action/play-by-play commentary while watching sporting events. Nate and his crew did an awesome job in a tricky space to get my TV mounted, speakers mounted, speaker wires and some network cables run in my house. They even fixed some cross-talk on a network cable I'd amateurishly installed myself! Friendly, clean, and Nate was great at walking me through the options. Definitely recommended!

AV Connect is a small business in Austin that specializes in theatre and audio systems. We purchased an expensive system for our home and have been very pleased with the level of performance and customer service. If you buy with AV Connect, you can be rest assured that your investment is well looked after.

Recently had the AV Connect team out to relocate TV above fireplace, install Sonos surround sound system and outdoor Sonos speakers. I couldn't be more pleased with the process. They came out and walked through the job in detail and recommended that the Sonos system would be ideal for our situation. The service was scheduled quickly and the installation process went smoothly. The installation is extremely clean with no wires showing and everything worked great. The Sonos system setup was easy and getting familiar with the software interface simple. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks prior to writing the review to see how the system performed. It is great! I would highly recommend AV Connect to anyone.

When I moved to Austin in 2014, I solicited several bids for my home theater/sound system installation in my new house. AV Connect impressed me for their knowledge, thoroughness and professionalism. Their bid was competitive and they matched "best prices" on hardware I was interested in. They sent a very seasoned team for what was a complex installation and completed it in a timely way. More importantly, they helped explain (and show) to me just how everything worked. Since then, I've called them on other occasions when I needed a hardware repair or wanted to add to my existing system: they've always worked me into the schedule very quickly and completed the tasks with the same ease and comfort as the original project. I've used to feel that Control4 was one of the best home automation products with the worst installation support on the planet after poor experiences with two other vendors. Finally found AV Connect through a strong recommendation and have been extremely happy ever since.

From start to finish, I had a great experience with AV Connect. Nate and Travis agreed to help me out by doing a small job that I could not find anyone else to do. The team called before my scheduled appointment time to let me know that they were running a few minutes late. They then did a fantastic job installing - finishing in less time than estimated, and without having to make any holes in the wall that would require patching. The floor was vacuumed and all trash removed. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience. I shopped around Austin to find someone who could do a large job (home theater, entire house sound system with connection to existing alarm system and closed circuit video) but have a personal response. The first several that I interviewed only spent maybe 1/2 with me and were quick to give me a quote. However, Kurtis spend more than 2 hours listening to my ideas, walking me thru the options and graciously adapting to what I needed. His team put in the system with very little family disruption. But more importantly, he and AV Connect have been there after the sale to come back to my home and make adjustments that were needed. Because of this, I then had him come to my office to do fix some work that had been poorly done by a previous installer (whole office sound system). Once again, minimal disruption and excellent results. I then brought him back to our home when my wife wanted to add on more AV connections in other rooms. When I begin on our pool installation, I will have Kurtis and his team do the outdoor music system for us.

I have been extremely impressed with the professional job that AV connect did at our home. We were looking to hire someone for a home theater installation and as is the norm nowadays requested quotes from a number of companies including AV Connect. Nate is a great ambassador for AV Connect. I would like to commend Nate for taking the time to explain to us our options for the installation. Nate was very forthcoming in letting us know the costs associated to the options we were presented with. He also took time to explain to us the differences between the various pieces of equipment. We requested for an urgent installation because we wanted to watch an important tournament on the big screen. Nate went out of his way to expedite the equipment for the installation. The installation team (Kyran and Greg) arrived on time and did a professional and thorough job on the home theater installation. Kyran came back the next day to explain to us how to operate the system. I contacted Nate when we were experiencing some lag in controlling the channels of Uverse, Nate immediately stopped by to assist in addressing the same. Nate also sends us regular reminders on software/firmware upgrades. AV Connect has completed two jobs at my home -- one in November and that went so well that I had more done in December. The entire crew is very professional and knowledgeable, arrived on time, and worked throughout the day to complete the job on time. Bids are given in a flexible manner so you can choose your budget from some options and those components and the fit and finish of their work is top notch. Both the electronic components and infrastructure that they procured and installed throughout my house continue to work perfectly since the moment they left (Time Warner is zero-for-three, for instance). I will definitely choose them again when I need something done related to my home IT infrastructure or entertainment infrastructure! Easy to use for the kids and everyone in the home.

AV installed 3 TV's, mounted them on the wall, and connected all the devices without a hitch. They were very efficient, personable, and extremely competent as they went about their tasks. I have had a number of Audio visual tasks done in the past, but none were handled as professional and with great care as this job. Had AV connect install three pair of in-ceiling speakers, a handful of receivers, a soundbar, and run my TV wiring through the wall. I thought about doing it myself, as I like to think I'm not a total moron, but decided I should probably let the professionals cut holes into my ceilings and walls. Best.Decision.Ever. I talked to Travis about my options and the best way to accomplish what I was trying to do with a particular budget in mind. He gave me plenty of options and his professional opinion, and we set up the install. Travis and Kyren arrived quickly and knocked out the installation efficiently. What would have taken me a day, if not more, took these guys a couple of hours. Everything came out looking and sounding exactly as advertised. Great experience with AV Connect. Great experience from start to finish. Travis was flexible and got over to my place quickly to take a look and get me an idea of what could be done. He was very responsive as we figured out the details and worked with my schedule perfectly. The installers were very nice, very accommodating and worked quickly and cleanly..even with my animals crawling all over them. The work was top notch, they had the materials and skill to do exactly what I needed done. I had BEST BUY out previously but they wouldn't drill, they wouldn't run the wires behind the wall and I basically paid for nothing. If you want the work done correctly, professionally and want to have something that will look great for many years to come..skip the geek squad and call Travis. You wont regret it.

We had a simple job request to mount our TV to the brick above our fireplace. No gaming consoles, no home theater equipment, just a TV and some wires. Travis and Nate didn't laugh at our caveman setup and didn't try to up-sell us on things we weren't in the market for. What they DID do was explore solutions to our situation (a fireplace with no flue, for instance) that we were happy with. They settled for nothing less than perfect, and Nate even spent time releveling the TV so it looked right above our not-so-level mantle. All in all, if you choose AV Connect, you're going to be dealing with perfectionists who want the best for your needs and will take extra steps to make sure you get it. Travis and his team were notified VERY late for our installation/setup b/c the cabinet company had scheduling issues. A short 24 hour notice and they still managed to come out and get everything installed in 2 hours on a Friday afternoon. The guys stayed to make sure everything was working perfectly before they left and were super nice about everything. They left no mess behind and did an amazing job. I found AV Connect online and really enjoyed reading all of the positive reviews. I called that day and Travis answered the phone. We setup an appointment for the following week and everything took off from there. Travis and Kurtis are extremely professional and straight shooters. All of their installers work for AV Connect and every one of them was as professional as Travis and Kurtis. These guys take a lot of pride in what they do and they do it well. We had a big project - a total of 14 musical zones (31 speakers inside and out) and two TVs. Travis and Kurtis scoped it out and offered us a couple of great options. We got more than one quote and although AV Connect wasn't the cheapest, we chose them anyway because of their commitment to quality work. The installation work was top notch and Travis pays attention to all of the details and makes sure the system is setup just the way you want it. He still checks in with us to make sure everything is perfect. We ended up installing a Control 4 system and we absolutely love it! I had the AV Connect guys mount a projector, route speaker wire, hang speakers and route some ethernet lines. They gave me an estimate of about 8 hours, but they finished in 4.5 hours! The guys were professional and did exactly what I needed. The projector looks awesome, you can't even see the wires! Very pleased, will definitely use AV Connect again.

Travis is awesome to work with and he and Kurtis know their stuff. They offer a great price and have great experience and professuonalism that comes with it. I am in the process of building a new house in Steiner Ranch, called them on Friday saying I needed the whole house wired by Wednesday of the next week....they had it done by Tueasday and we are talking while house audio, home automation and structured wiring. Everything was zip tied and very organized. Travis did my parents house as well and was done perfectly. I will be a customer for life. Forget about the other guys like Modia, Best Buy or Frys.....stick with these guys.
